FFACT is back. -> edge fisher working anyone?

Anyone got Edge fishing bot working, as that rocked when it was going.
Doesnt seem to run with the new ffact, but i think my ver of the new FFACT may have been to blame as the debug screen showed no values for anything.

Dont seem to be able to get the IocaineFisher working for me which is a bummer, but thats a different topic.

if a super gfx card is needed to run ffxi twice on one computer a second computer may be cheaper as entry level hardware these days is cheap aswell as more practical as means you can use one char to bot/camp and play the other easier.

Depending on the level of programming you will be doing on your course and if you wanted to take a career in IT/Software development. These are really the main factors you need to think about. i myself learnt on VBA and then was taught C then java at uni. All education is based to teach from scratch, but it can be a major advantage to get your head around programming before-hand as it can be hard for some people and allows ou to focus on other subjects. depending on the level of programming you would want to go into i would suggest either vb or C. Vb for IT skills, C for engineering/programming skills. as evildir said vb is usefull for IT peo...

if you want to learn programming for college or uni, i would suggest to get hold of a copy of a vb compiler and a book or a borland C compiler if more ambitous. My reasoning over ac tools is that it is a skill that it can look good on a CV at the end of your course (even if you can only say you know very basics), also in the UK if you had on your CV Ac tools as a skill most employers would not know what it was. where as vb is used in industry. (may be wronge in saying that, but what i think) suggestions would be stay away from C++ as its just evil unless you know how to program already. :F if you are very ambitious C would also be a good one ...

andy poking in the dark again.

radeon X800 XL is a power hungry card, just making sure you are using good power supplys and not testing the card on old pc's with crappy old power supplys.
i know i already said this, but it can cause all sorts of funny issues and i have seen this problem happen in quite a few cases as the power supply is always just seen as a thing thats just there and works, so is normally the last thing thats replaced which can be costly especially when the power supply is a cheap component.
not getting enough power can cause all sorts of problem from ram corruption on gfx memory to full bluescreens.

After replaceing the motherboard you have introduced a whole range of possible problems to do with possible hardware issues. The graphics card drivers not installing may not be the actual problem as these should have been tested by the developers, so should work (guessing, but not alsways the case). i am saying this if you have installed windows fresh and tried more than once. By installing the gfx card drivers you are starting up additional hardware that may be making windows more unstable. This could be due to your memory not working correctly. (tested via memory tester (can download one) ) or the system could be unstable, common cause is p...

are you sure its not a stability problem of the motherboard/ram/proccessor that is falling over when you install the gfx drivers.

try a free stress test program and memory check from in windows may be a good idea.

PowerUP bot: Add Rest now function

This is a Great bot to use as a RDM being healer, but i found the other classes without refresh tend to need to get their mp back at the most awkward times. My suggestion would be a feature for this bot to heal on reciept of a tell "Rest now" from the person being power leveled.
Maybe this is in the wronge section, if so sorry, thought this may be a good idea.

seen this on geforce.

i had this problem, i thought it was overheating issues (i could be the case for you), but in my case it was due to having a cheap power supply and then wacking a new geforce in my machine and the power supply couldnt handle it.
one thing you could try is check the power supply and make sure it isnt a 300watt power supply, or even worse lower. if this is the case it may be cheaper to try replacing that than the gfx card.

This works a treat

I am most impressed with this bot, i have a level 49 RDM and used this bot to power level a char from 1-12. its great.
Had to turn off the cure 1 option as poison was a bit annoying as the bot keeps curing, so nice to be able to disable that. Worked very well using refresh on my self.

i love this bot. 1-12 bot power leveled and i didn't die once. This bot unlike me pays attention when power leveling :)
couldn't get the mp reports working, but that's prob me being a bit of a thicky.

All Good except turning problem

The turning problem is a slight annoyance. but i will say this bot is very good. When the turning problem is ironed out this bot will rock.

great work ffxiscripting. hope you can sort this minor problem out soon.
