Almost everyone who goes in the Dead Mines has a healer, even if its a druid, priest, or a pally. NOTE:THIS EXPLOIT CAN BE USED WITH RANGED ATTACKERS ALSO. Now what you do is when you get to the small stair case thing that leads to the top of the boat where VanCleef and his body guards are. Have your healer, or ranged attacker get on the cannon on the left of the stair case (a small cannon sticking out of the wall next to the stair case on the left, easy to spot) have them get ontop of it. Now, in this position the healer or ranged attacker CANNOT be attacked at all (trust me I use it all the time) but they can still attack or heal. Now that the priest or ranged attacker is on the cannon, have someone go up (everyone else stay at the bottem of the stair case) and pull vancleef down (so the ranged attacker or priest has full vision of his/her party members) - This exploit is very useful

This, like all other non-pathable area 'cheats' only works as long as the people in that area(in this case, the healers/ranged DPS on the wheel) never pull aggro - if they do, VC will start evading and can regen to full HP.



There are a few places in most instances you can use like this(even MC, by lucifron), but they're only really useful if you pull too much to handle and need to drop aggro to avoid a wipe.
