Cloning Overt

First off make sure you are overt. After dieing from combat in a city, a clone screen will ask you to choose a place to clone. First thing to do is to disconnect the game through control + escape, and you will be prompted with the exit the game screen, just disconnect only. After about one minute log back in and you should clone back as overt status still. This is great for raiding a base near a city of the opposing faction. This is also excellent for raiding Anchorhead or Bestine.
