In Felwood to the north, there is a cavern with elementals, 52-54. The mouth of the cave has two entrances, seperated by a pillar of rock. Somehow the mobs CAN'T use the left entrance (when standing in front of the cavern), they will always use the right entrance. You, as a player, can use both.

This way you can kite mobs, by tagging them with a DOT, letting them run to you, then crossing the line of the left entrance and having the mob run the long way around, because they can't use the left entrance.

Not really anything game-breaking and only a few classes can use it: Hunters can let the pet eat away at the mob while having it stinged and distracted. Locks can DOT away and run in and out, priest can SW, MF and run across when the mob gets close. You can use this to solo mobs way higher than you...but the time spent doing that, could be better spent leveling on mobs your own lvl.

Only application I can think of is, if you REALLY need living essences and your main is in his mid forties, then you can spend some time (too long IMO )here grinding away more or less safely.
