Fishing skill is base of area of lvls and skill lvl. Lets say you are on a part where lvl 13 mobs appear? well you would get items around that lvl. As you meet harder areas the higher fishes you can get and the harder to caught them.

Druids are able to have access to a high lvl area at the low lvl of 10, the place is called Moonglade. A part of the druid lvl 10 quest to take the form of a bear.

This place can be fished and since it have a high lvl fishing area, your fishing skill grow up so fast since you dont fail! here . You can get here lvl 35 weapons .

Horde can do the same at level 5 Wink

Take the west output in Ogrimar, you arrive in the Barrens.

Go north to Ashenvale Forest and follow the river for a very short trip.

Just after a tree you have a message saying you are in Azshara (a lvl 45-55 zone) and no mob spawn here Wink

Stay here and start fishing...

if u have fishing skill at a high level u can do high damage with the pole, more than your normal weapon, attack is based on the weapon class skill, and it uses fishing skill for it

Enjoy
